Evangelist Janis Ruise

Evangelist Janis Ruise was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Janis is a graduate of Pierce College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and has additional training in Christian Ministry at Palmers, formerly Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. She is Vice President of Internal and External Affairs at a consulting firm in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. She is also an instructor in the Philadelphia Prison System. In addition, as a resourceful businesswoman, she has operated her own wedding consulting and event planning business, "A Classy Event" for over 30 years. Janis is also the founder of Janis Ruise Ministries.

Janis accepted the Lord as her personal savior at the tender age of 14. Janis is a member of the Memorial Church of God in Christ in Haverford, Pennsylvania under the pastorate of Elder Nathaniel W. Porter and has served faithfully for over thirty-eight years. She has served as a Sunday School teacher, Music Department Staff member and Co-Chairperson of the Evangelism Team Ministry. She is the president of the Christian Women's Council and has served in many other ministries in the church. She serves as the State President of the Christian Women's Council and District Missionary for the West District for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Jurisdiction of the Church of God In Christ. Janis was honored by the Philadelphia Baptist Association where she received the Economic Development Award in recognition of her diligent and generous work in the community and her profession. She received her Evangelist License in September, 2001. Although Janis is very humble, it has often been expressed by others that her melodic voice can soothe even the most troubled souls.

Janis is the dedicated and proud mother of two adult children, Alicia and Larry, II, both college graduates.

Her profession and ministry have afforded her the opportunity to travel abroad to Italy and Korea. During her trip to Korea, Janis had the privilege to minister to and pray for the soldiers at Camp Hovey in the United States Army. Her ministry has also afforded her the experience to journey to Colón, Panama in 2007 and 2008 to minister during the Holy Convocation of the Church of God In Christ and minister live on House of Worship's Christian Radio Broadcast Station, MANNA 96.1 FM.

In addition, she was interviewed and ministered live on WTJH 1260 AM in Atlanta, Georgia. She has also been blessed to minister during the Holy Convocation and Spring Workers' Meeting of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Jurisdiction. She is a preacher, teacher and motivational speaker and has shared her ministry locally and across the country conducting revivals, seminars, workshops, retreats and conferences. She is a true worshipper and praiser, a lover of the Word, as well as an encourager, exhorter and exalter. Janis has an outstanding prophetic calling and operates her God-given gifts with accuracy and power. Being blessed and highly favored by God is her claim.
